I have been running my Hornblasters Conductor’s Special Model 540 Train Horn Kit for almost a year now. Lately, my horns sound like they are a bit higher pitched than I remember then being when new. They used to have a slightly deeper kick you in the chest tone. They are still f’ing loud, just not quite as deep sounding. Do I have a sick horn or are they just broken in? It is not very train horn-ish right now, just really f’ing loud air horn-ish.

No, the way I have them mounted, I would have to use a mirror and flashlight to see into the horns. I am thinking about taking the mounting plate down and testing each horn.
