digital P.G. Mounting

I have the air zeneth PG. I was wondering if the sensor piece that goes on the tank HAS to be mounted on the top of the tank, or i can mount it into 1 of the 4 holes in the front of the tank? I have the 8.5 gallon 8 port tank

My install has consisted of 5 nights 48 cans of coors and 2 of those nights passing out in the back of my truck. I can’t wait till this is done…its getting cold out.

Thanks

The sides work, too … just don’t use the bottom.

Is it ok to have a 90 degree elbow before it so its not sticking out into my bed? Or will that throw it off?

Yup, works with elbows too.

Kris

Yes it can be mounted almost anywhere - any direction.
Like MarineOne said - just don’t use the bottom of the tank.
Water collects there and would plug the sensor. Your drain fitting should be there anyway.

So i got everything mounted. I started to freak out when the guage hit 200psi and it didnt turn off…so i let it run and it final turned off 215psi. I didnt think that was normal for it to be 15psi off. I figured it would be off a couple either way. But im gald it turned off. Has anyone ran into this?

I did. Either the gauge is off or a lying pressure switch.

What’s the pressure switch rated for?

I’ve got a 175psi switch and my digital reads 182 when the pressure switch finally kicks in to shut off the compressor.

Kris

165-200psi

Well there you go … it won’t turn off right at 200psi, so you’re fine.

Kris

Thats what i figured. Thanks
