He sells alot of horns… Never heard any issues. Decent price in light of these are starting to become scarce…
Looks like a pretty good deal. I would ask him a couple questions. Are there any cracks in the casting? Are there any scratches? (usually not a big deal, but you want to know everything) Are any threads damaged on the manifold.
His listing says make him an offer. I’d offer a little less and offer instant payment. Give him your zip code for shipping. Since you’re only 350-400 miles from him it will be on the low end of the UPS scale - Zone 1 or 2 or whatever.
Ok thanks guys, I just messaged him. I will let you know what he says…I offered 400 for them so it would $450 shipped…if he will do that I will buy them tonight!!!
Now I still got a few more questions…

now if I order that kit, all I would need is the 1/2 air line and would I need to purchase fittings???
First time installer your dealing with here so any tips, advice and/or help would be appreciated!
you would need your airline and 1 ptc fitting for the manifold of the horn. (it looks like it comes with 1 fitting already.
that air kit goes to 200 psi so i dont know if you are going to want a regualtor to tone it down to 150.
so maybe go with the kit below it…the 540 kit?

you could yea, but i would get a constant duty compressor depending on how much you are going to honk.
so what do you think if i bought that first one and bought this from hornblasters.

Thats only 1/4 inch regulator.
I will just probably pick one up from Ace Hardware or something then…still waiting on a reply for the horns.
Alright so I got a reply back!
He said the horns are in excellent condition and he has had them apart and cleaned them. He said he doesn’t think there are any cracks anywhere but he would make sure. He also said that he has never tried a fitting in the manifold, but he would. He told me that he would put them back together by tomorrow and let me know and would check over them.
$415.00
go for it
Hell yea man…I am excited now!
Yep, do it up. I agree with Bryan - you might want the constant duty compressor.
You could go the regulator route, or maybe just ask Hornblasters to substitute a 150psi pressure switch.
200psi in the tank would give a little more honk time, but you want a high flow regulator.
You will be very happy when you get them in the mail. I was, I couldn’t wait to take the box home and open it. They are louder than what you think they will be. Good luck.
^ ha ha Sure are! But I still had too make mine louder!!
alright heres an update!
Bought the air kit today from Garrett @ Hornblasters.
I got the 548 HornAir kit and he switched to a 150PSI Pressure switch for me.
Now here are some pictures of the horns that the guy sent me today!
looks good
sweet
Heh, That’s the exact seller I got my K3 from. He was a good guy throughout the entire process. The box came a little beat up but I am sure that was UPS’s fault.
-In fact that is the same auction I won. Did he have more than one K3HA laying around?
