K3L Test
Horn covers are on it…
The only thing I really changed was got rid of my 2 2 gallon tanks… put 1 8.5 gallon tank and 2 400C’s into a truck box… Then I put my K3 under my bed. I also added an electric solenoid valve for drainage purposes with the flick of a switch in the cab.
The last thing you can’t see is I have a 1/4" electric solenoid under my tank so I can flip a switch (much like the one under the steering wheel) and drain my tank from moisture buildup :).
The best part (I think) is that I can still fit emergency supplies in the corner of my truckbox… So, I’m all set for the road… I just have to put the spare back in the bed, but that’s no big deal :).
Thanks everyone! Special thanks to Garrett, Rigo, Dirty Jersey, 06z71silvy, 4.3L5spd, and anyone else who has helped me!
looks awesome man. very nice setup
with that 8gal tank and the two 400c’s how long does it take to fill pressure back to 150 once they kick on?
Let alone if you just use the K3 how many short blasts… full on blast can you get?
Thanks
I don’t know the fill up time but, according to this site. It’s 1 minute and 47 seconds from 110-150.

I just added videos in previous post!!!
I will upload some videos of my shockers, but I just had to get the K3 out of the way first :).
Looks great! Nice Job!
That does look nice, great job.
I love the set up. Especially the truck box and the K3. Looks good. You said you can fit emergency supplies in the corner of your truck box. lol. Will a spare tire fit in there. lol. Great Rig man. Love it.
Thanks! Hehe, I couldn’t help myself, but I just bought the 5-1 Viair inflation kit for tires. Now I’m all set for the road. Hmmm, I wonder if there’s anything else I can do.
Short blasts… I’ve only done 3 1 second blasts and the dial on my gauge didn’t move much at all.
I’m estimating that you’ll get at least 10 or more short blasts… If they are all quick like .05-1.5 seconds long.
Full on blast? I haven’t tested that out yet. What I do know is… A guy on youtube told me with his 5 gal he gets 3-4 seconds without fading. So figure around 7ish seconds.
Im just seeing this for the first time. I haven’t been on in a while. I remember a while back you pm’d me about my toolbox.
This setup looks really good. Thats about what my compressors sound like too.
Good job bud.
Nice job marker! I think you did a great job! For me it looks awesome!
Thanks all!
The best part of it is…I leak about 3psi every 72 hours. I’m dead serious :). Ain’t that the greatest feeling ever?
