Done!!

I finally got it all installed. But the leslie horns I had were bad. So I went with a set of nathans. It sounds awesome. And with the ten gallon tank I can really let people know how I feel. I will get some pics up this afternoon.

Yes yes pics!

Any ideas where you are going to mount your horns? I have the same truck and looking at the spare tire spot.

Are you straight piped? If so they will go up right where your muffler was. I will get some pics and show you in a bit

Sounds good. Yeah. Straight pipe

My first scare!! Shoot, the video didnt load . It shows her jumping vertical

My ten gallon tank and the air chimes mounted

The tank mounted under my tool box. Had to cut the legs to make it fit. And my 2 444 mounted in my tool box. I cut a piece of aluminum to keep my things from touching the hot compressor. And Installed my gauge in there too. Untill I can afford the zenith air digital gauge for the cab.

Here are some pics of my rig. and the momentary switch for the selenoid.

And I dont know if you can tell CJ, But they fit perfect if you put the manifold on the last part of the bed. And the horns carry over to the cab. I drilled through the last support for the bed and dropped the bolts down to mount it with nylocs. Plus I had a stack at one time so I had a Gaping 4" hole in my bed already to run the hoses and wires through.

And the best part of taking those pictures is that , I found those vise grips I have been looking for. Damn I feel dumb.

are you running 1/2" lines? what kind of solenoid did you go with? I like the chime placement

Ya 1/2" goodyear hose. Its rated up to 350 psi. I am using a 1/2 smc seleniod. I am always tuff on tires so I was too scared to loose my spare. So I found that place. I have also put p3’s on a 07 cummins and a 01 superduty. I think as long as a diesel is straight piped it will fit there.

i appreciate it. im trying to piece this thing together and dont know much about the horns. ive looked all over the place for solenoids but they vary so much in price. i dont think my local home depot carries this stuff.

nice set up. get a vid if ya can

Thanks Jeep. And as far as parts call this guy. He his cheap and very honest. he stood behind a bad pressure switch and drove it to me. His company is Called Newmatics. 817- 723-4192. He charged me 45 bucks for the selenoid. 108 for the tank, 275 for the compressors, and 20 for the adj, pressure switch.

did you have to drop your muffler to squeeze that k3 in there. i just got underneath mine and its definitely a tight fit? i appreciate the number!!

I thought you said you were straight piped? If you have a muffler I don’t know if it will fit or not. You may be able to take your muffler off, install the horns, then put the muffler back. Or may I recommend leaving it off.

Yeah. Sorry. I have a muffler. I thought you were talking about exhaust coming straight back or something like a cat back

Straight pipe is no cat or muffler. Turbo to tail pipe straight pipe. But I don’t think you will have a problem even with the muffler. You may just need to remove it to get it up there then put it back if you want.
