Dual System (7 horns total): Question

Ok, so I am running the 4 chime “Shocker XL’s” from Hornblasters with a Viair 400c and 5 gallons of air. I also own a set of Outlaw 3 Chime’s. I was thinking of splicing these into the current system. I am wondering if combining the tones will be deafeningly loud or perhaps very ugly in tone. All I need are a 1/2" OD push lock T, some 3/8" OD tube and 30 minutes to make this work but I wanted to hear from the pro’s first.

Here is the current setup w/ panty hose screens. Ignore the commercial zip tie. It’s just there for backup support for the perforated metal mount and to keep the horns coupled together. Hey, I am not in a car show, LOL!

Were you satisfied with the answer you got on the hornwhistleboard? I agree with their answer that the 2 sets would probably clash when honked together and wouldn’t be much louder.

Hooked it up tonight. Slightly louder and tone is nicer.

Let’s hear it  … Got a recording?

They sound better together than I thought. 3 seconds is almost too short to make an accurate judgement.

I will try to get a longer sound clip at the right time. I now have 7 chimes, 7 gallons of air and and onboard air accessory system with quick disconnect to run air tools.

What was that!!! Go on… honk it like a boss

Sounds OK, although to me it didn’t seem all that much different to a stock Shocker set. I guess it’s hard to tell from the video as I’m sure it sounds better in person.

At least it doesn’t sound like you’re getting some weird clash musically with the tones.

Dude! It was about 10:30pm and I didn’t want to be rude®. LOL! The tone isn’t that much different but it is quite a bit louder in person than the Shockers alone.

Sounds better than I thought it would.
Like DBO said - almost like the stock shockers… Maybe a tiny bit brighter.
