hi all,
i’m from Netherlands, living in Amsterdam, well i migrate between two houses from time to time but should move further north soon

I’ve just made payment to HB, for the Shockers

the little car I will be fitting the horns in, it’s a Suzuki Swift GTI. It’s a small jap car but I love the model and it’s quite comfortable (built in each “option” from the Swift GLX which was a luxory model)
It has 105pk on 800kg so it’s quite rapid… it competes well against a volvo S40 in front of the stoplights :slight_smile: when i let him pass he gave me a thumbs up, i had to limit my speed because we have a point license in Netherlands for the first 5 years… what this means you score points (3 max), on a red light, when driving drunk, and 30+ speed , reckless driving… and i already have one

Here’s the little tin can, compared to all those huge trucks I see in America… At least mine has good milage :slight_smile: and doesn’t CO2 polute so much

The reason for this tft-monitor, is that I do business, I could modify your Xbox 360 on your doorstep (in my car) … car also has a PC in it… I also do repairs on electrics and I think about starting a webshop to earn some more money :slight_smile:

Here’s another hobby I have, the plants were grown legally (outside without any lights on it). Sells great a broad… This one was from one harvest, about 2-3KG

Here’s what i used to have for travel :

It’s a motorized bicycle (according to laws here)… allowed to go not any faster then 25kmh, (orange plate means no helmet and 25KMH max)… mine had a fully tuned Pollini 70cc engine which blew 100kmh, sadly got taken by police and crushed into a little block…

Then i bought this moped:

Is not allowed to go any faster then 45kmh (yellow plate with helmet), as you guess mine was a little faster… I used to ride freeways with this thing… and also got the motorcycle wave which i thought was a bit peculiar in the beginning (when bike passes a bike they wave eachother… was kinda weird for me since i rode a moped)

well actually buying the train horn is extra motivation to stop the green habit… a treat whatever you call it

i do like american cars don’t get me wrong :slight_smile: i like the Forg Mustang GT … but any american vehicle is appealing to me somehow, big huge block with bad donkey sound… (you don’t get that sound from any other vehicle, except american XD )

haha yea i think we take it for granted too much and keep up the good smoke. you dont take for granted that your maryjane is legal and i wont take for granted my v8 truck

i went for the 240XL , which was recommended…i wouldn’t wanna under-do to the train horn you know :wink:

oh and that hamper full of weed… it’s nothing really… i’ve seen guys do it like 10-20 times more pro… and illegal, wouldn’t wanna be part of that i tell you! bigtime jail and they’ll have you pay tax over what they think you have earned from profits (know a guy who lost his car and house over this)

sadly the police are cracking up bigtime on these pro-growers, they scan the houses with thermal camera’s with helicopters… so what they do is go underground with huge seacontainers dug in…
quite a decrease in quality weed here over the last few years because of this

so today i already removed excessive parts in my car… to free up space for installation, since my trunk was already filled with 2 amps and a huge sub… didn’t wanna bother having to re-rig everything when my horns come in, so figured i’d just make room for everything already (pre-install)

removed the spare wheel, screwed both the amps to the sub… the sub in the spare wheel compartiment so it’s lowered quite a bit (if only i knew before that my sub would fit in there so nicely!)…

now have some free room to fit the tank and compressor, well if the dimensions are correct on the product page :slight_smile:

now if only to find room to fit the horns XD that’ll be a tough call, but i suppose i could always strap them underneath the car with tie-rips (from what i’ve read from the installation manual)… i’d like to have them all pointing forward from behind my front bumper, but we’ll see where it goes

Here’s a custom bracket i made for my cellphone, so i don’t require a 2nd passenger in order to tape horn action / scares, … it can swivel 180 degree :slight_smile:

What i do is stick the metal part in my rearview mirror, and surprisingly it fits quite snug… it’s brilliant!

Also got a scare! The kitty right at the end of this video.

It’s just a test video to see if the bracket worked ok… i believe those crackling noises could either be wind or vibration… have that sorted soon so i can get blastin in amsterdam :slight_smile: heh

very nice idea, one thing u gotta find a way to keep it from shaking, maybe some plastic boots?

i’ve already made it all from rubber, to stop vibration and scratching my phone…

what i could do to make it stop shaking is put a piece of rubber between the windshield and the bracket

and the cam has a noise filter, which if enabled all those noises are more or less gone
