Ear2ear’s Install – 09 Sierra – K5A+4 *pics*

yea i woulda been scared to blow the window out lol, when i blow my k5 i can feel the ground shake

After dealing with stereos and such I’m not even 1% concerned. There’s no way in open atmosphere.
HOWEVER - it would almost be worth it for the story & pics…lol

yea it would have made a great story lol

Man that paint color is awesome! once I get a hold off a k5L manifold I might do mine black chrome or same color as my truck also and I’m putting them on a soon to come headache rack (razorback style) facing forward. I can’t wait to have them both on there. I know I won’t have enough air for both at once.

Thanks. So you’re going to have 2 sets?
These 8 gallons go really fast. When I add the other bells I’m going to want like 20 gallons - Lol Hopefully a regulator will help.

I’m getting weird looks from people & mine are only sitting in the bed. I can’t imagine mounting them up top.

Well a guy just paypal me 600 for the k5hla hes coming to get it this evening. Posted it on craiglist for two days and its outa here. I paid 3hondo for it and replaced three seals and i made a lil bit of profit.

congratz on making some money!

when i get honkin 12 gallons isnt enough hahah

Windows break… well crack, due to panel flex from around the window, not the window itself… and that doesnt occur very often lol

Dang you made money and somebody STILL got a good deal.

I just want to be able to do a good/full driveby.

You’re talking stereos right? I can’t imagine panel flex from the horn…especially in open atmospere. Maybe sealed up in the cab - LOL

On a side note I yanked everything out tonight for my spray-in bedliner tomorrow.

 wo mama
that K5 looks sweet
earman hope it all
works out sweet
for ya and ill be
on the forum like
i usd to be.
peace

Tune them to the right frequency or harmonic and you might shatter that back window or at least crack it.

Kind of like the old Memorex commercial huh? lol

Another Temporary Install - Until Spring

Well, I got my spray-in bedliner by Line-X done and it’s great.
I also installed my retractable hard tonneau made by Truck Covers USA. It’s top notch, love it.

So that allowed me to throw everything back in the bed and lock it up safe.

New home for horns and air setup.

Cover closed. The aluminum slats are quite strong.

The original ‘4th of July’ setup was way too tall. So I chopped it off and spun the horns around.

Now I just open the tonneau about 20" while driving.

Also bought a bed light kit from Truck Covers USA.

Having Fun!

Ha nice again, those lights look great. Cover is nice looking to.

Thanks.

I replaced my grilles too. Upper and lower. Had to remove tow hooks & license plate.

Cutting out the factory grill gave lots more room to mount horns later.

awesome ! Mount them horns in the grill! You got a ton of room!

Will do - that’s the plan next spring.
Right now I’m back to working on the stereo.

That turned out BEAUTIFUL! So impressed. Please email the pics to me: Garrett@hornblasters.com

At first when they were facing the window I was thinking…Hmm a little obvious. But now, with bed cover in place, it can get any better!

We can’t wait to throw these on the site.

^^ Well, it’s temporary (again), but I sent pics anyway.
Let me know if you need more.
