Hey guys im wanting to install an electric drain kit like the one hornblasts sell. I already have the valve but am stuck on how you wire the valve. Do i ground the valve to the truck on the frame and run a power wire to one side of the switch and the other wire from the valve for it to work properly?
Any info on how to set it up would be great.
Yup, you got it; power through a fuse and switch on one wire, and the other going to ground.

I had an electric drain on my Hilux fitted with K3’s, but what I also done was have a piece of 1/2" pipe of the solenoid I was using to drain and then had it routed pointing out to side of the truck, about knee height off the ground, which I found was sometimes exceptionally funny when pulling up to people waiting at bus stops, first it’s the noise that makes them jump & then followed by a watery mist lol lol :D:D:D:D
