Still flip-flopping on solenoid or manual valve for my Leslies, but I had an idea:
How does 2 or 3 solenoids, ranging in size from 3/8 to 3/4, connected in parallel sound for throttling the air to my Leslies?
I would make up a switch a switch box so I could toggle them on/off to “throttle” the air flow.
Has anyone tried this? What’s your opinion on this idea?
Or to simplify it, I could go with a 4-way, 3-position valve with one porting configuration restricted with an orifice and the other full open.
Either one won’t be variable like a manual metering valve, but could be tuned to give a somewhat feathered flow.

except it will be stepped volumes, not a smooth application like a manual valve.
Hey 08ford, I sent you a PM.
