Here is a Complete Escort ZR3 System.
What this does is it has 2 “Heads” that you Mount on the Front of the Vehicle, and 1 “Head” you Mount on the Rear using the License Plate Bolts.
Then you have a Display in the Truck that has Indicators on it that tell you if you are getting Hit with Laser in the Front or Rear.
You can use this as a Stand Alone, with no Radar Detector at all (will ONLY Read Laser Signals, no Radar (K, KA, X, ect…)) or it will Interface Directly with the 8500, 8500 X50, and 9500 Series Escort Detectors.
Couple this ZR3 with ANY Radar Detector, especially an Escort, and you’ll have the BEST Coverage possible.
The whole System is VERY easy to Install. The Heads have Long Pigtails on them, and just simply Plug In to the Main Unit, and then you just Supply it with a +/- (can be got from Cig Lighter), and you are done.
I had this Installed on my Avalanche and all Wires were more than Long enough, so even on our Trucks, and prob. any other Vehicle, you’ll have enough Wire to Install.
