Anybody run any other horns off their system on separate switch? I have a Cunningham Air Whistle that I’m going to set up on another switch. The solenoid should be here on the 2nd. So I’m hoping to have everything operational by the 3rd. Has anyone done this before and had any problems?
Havn’t tried this yet but do know it will work. Provided you have enough air.
It’s a low cfm horn so I’m confident it will work pretty good. It’s actually an old yarder whistle. Should be pretty loud.
If its a whistle, depending on what type , and inlet it has, it might require a low psi and high cfm…
I had a whistle hooked up to my system and @ 150 psi and it did not sound great at all… when i put a metering valve on it, the sound was better but still full open made a high pitch squeel only.
this all depends on the whistle you are using tho.
To answer the original question tho, yes u can use multiple horns on one air setup.
I have a k3 and shockers tied in currently …
but i also had the whistle at one time .
@06z: It’s a Cunningham 1H. I just looked at it and it’s rated from 90-140psi. I was surfing their web page and it takes .2 cubic feet/second. So 12cfm. I might need to bump up to 3/8" air line to feed it. Hopefully 1/4" will get it loud enough.
#1 Hook it up!
#2 Take pics and video!
#3 Post pics and video here!!!:D:D:D
10-4 on that. I might go take pics right now of the complete HB install. Thats a good idea.
Alright guys. I got an install video up. Subscribe to my page and I’ll do the same. Here’s a link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MybggNDPgQs&feature=youtube_gdata_player
