what size fuse does everyone have for the remote line that powers the pressure switch
After the switch, does the wire go to a relay or straight to a compressor?
If it’s just to the ‘coil’ side of a relay, the current is minimal.
5 or 10 amp fuse just in case of a short.
Ya I have bunch’s or relays but with this kit the relay is built in the pressure switch its the gray box type. So basically it should still be low correct like 5 10 amp?
One of these?

As long as it’s only the trigger wire to the coil that’s fine.
I would venture to say that some people do not fuse this wire if connected to a fused ‘key on’ location…
I am going to fuse mine separately & not worry about what’s in the fusepanel.
If you’re talking about the other wire to ‘fused power source’ that is the main power. That fuse should be = or less than the rating of the relay.
Yep that’s the one and I didn’t run this wire from the fuse back to the trigger line on the pressure switch its prexisting from my subwoofers so I’m fusing it before the radio so I don’t mess us the radio
I see. So you’re headunit has to be on to run your compressor?
That’ll work.
ya because its already there and its on a switch also. i have my radio on all the time anyways so it kind of works out. and i have my 4 gauge power wire running to a distribution block and my prexisting ground ran to another block. so alot of the wiring is already there.
Yeah, the stereo is always on…lol
I guess I would do the 5 amp to protect the headunit.
