Alright - the garage is stocked with everything on my list. I have a couple of install questions:
1- The Electric Valve has two black wires on it. Does it matter what wire I ground and which one I wire to the Horn Switch?
2- I am going to wire to the factory horn. There are two factory black wires that are wired to the horn. Can I tap in to either one or is there a hot wire I should tap into?
on the solenoid on the electric valve it does not matter, but at the same time look very close at the wires to make sure there are no markings or small lines on it.
For the horn yes it does matter, one is positive and one is negative. unhook the horn and get a friend to honk it while you put a meter or test light to it and ground the other end of the meter or test light to a good bolt. if your ground to ground nothing will happen, if your ground to positive you will get 12 volts DC or a light, Do not put both leads on the horn as it will light up or show 12 volts either way, you have to ground the tester elsewhere, hope this helps
