hi everyone ive been out of the loop for 4 months cuz my old 98 exploder blew up…twice. so i got another car, a 03 explorer. i installed the horns EXACTLY like i had it insalled in my old truck but they sound different…even my friends say they sound different. is it possible that the diaphrams are going since the horn sat in my shed for 4 months? im puzzled.
chevk your lines… maybe one is just kinked a bit…
i checked every hose for knicks and cracks and i couldnt find anything. i dont get it
Check for mice nest in it if it has been sitting in a shed
im pretty sure its you then, if its the same psi with the same horns and same air lines, and same solonoids its gonna sound the same…
It is possible that the new mounting in a different car in a different position will cause the sound waves to react slightly different. thus, giving a slightly different sound to a picky ear.
well if there was a mice nest in there, ther aint one now!! haha
Or if there still is , they are deaf!
