Well I got it done. I just finished my K5LA and dual 480c’s. Thanks to all of you that helped me with your advise. I went with 5/8 ID line and I’m thrilled. Nothing to compare to other than Amtrak and I got his attention today. I’m going to try to post the pics hope they turn out. ffice:office" /><O:p></O:p>

I forgot to post my truck
sweet fn install man!! love everything bout it… truck is great!
Thanks Scaredu,
What do you think about the bell covers? I was told that they block a lot of sound. They are the ones from hornblasters, the front of them are mesh. Also any problems running 200psi ? My tank is a 150. My switches are shutting down at 134 so I’m going to get the dual relay single switch from HB. 150 or bigger?
no bell covers do not block alot of air…
no problems running at 200psi…just makes ur horn a tiny bit higher pitch and louder …i usually blast around 150 psi to 180 tho…

its the same horn…duhh…
heres few pics of my truck
Nice Scaredu thanks.
Airchime,
Maybe you should read the post a little closer before you comment. I didn’t say that it does not compare, I said I have nothing to compare my horns with 5/8 line with. I know Amtrak has the same horns that why I got them. Thanks…<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” /><o:p></o:p>

Scardu Nice pics. Sweet install. I have the same pillar cluster, I thought about putting my new gauge in it but I have a small compressor for my Air Ride bags that does not have a tank and that’s where its gauge is.<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” /><o:p></o:p>

Looks great! Nice valve too.
I think it’s a good idea to only use one pressure switch. That way, both compressors turn on/off at the same time. I run 200, but getting a regulator.
Looking forward to seeing some pissed off golfers…
Awesome! But I don’t like covers.
Thanks guys, I feel the same about the two switches but I bought this as a used kit. I got lucky that everything worked as good as it looked (rolled the dice). The only thing is I’m down on the max PSI both switches shut down at 134-136. However they do shut down within 3-5 sec of each other and cycle on at the same time. As far as the covers, I feel you avfrog I ordered the black and received digi camo. They ran out of black so that’s what I got. Not much longer and the mud will dry up and they are coming off. Any thoughts on protecting the bells while remaining cool looking and not blocking air?<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = “urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office” /><o:p></o:p>
