Got the Shockers installed into the jeep today..

Still need to finish the on board air though. Going to using the factory air compressor unit for that task.

Anyways, on with the pictures:

The orange hose runs back to the tank, the 4 PTC fittings are for the horns, obviously.

Back view.

With the seat in. Had to do a bit of trimming on the seat mount, but otherwise it slides back and forth just fine.

underneath the jeep.

the sliders help hide it better.

The following are pictures of the tank i will be using. It is a 30 min SCBA air bottle that is rated to 3000psi, obviously i wont be using that much air, but at the very least i know that it will hold 200psi without complaining.

the 30 min tank is roughly 514 cubic inches which comes to about 2.2 gallons.

Rigged it up so i can test it.

Side by side with my 20lb CO2 tank.

ru using nitrogen?

Manual valves rule.

Kris

Yes I’m jealous of the manual valve.
Nice install.
How are you mounting the tank(s)?

thanks all.
no, im not running nitrogen. im running compressed atmospheric air. i was able to get the tanks cheap so why not?

one or both of the tanks will be mounted in the cargo area where the spare tire used to be.

looks like you wheel that thing, had any trouble hititng the horns?
