graham white vs push button

I have a question I have a set of nathan k5la’s on my land rover I have a regular off on valve that you buy from a hardware store the sound great 150psi i was ready to but the graham white valve but I wanted to make sure its a differece 1st before i did it and whats better push buttin or valve

i

push button = 100% on or off, no airlines required inside the vehicle, can hook up to a remote, etc…

hand valve = more authentic sound, you can trottle the horn, must plumb airline into the vehicle, cannot hook to alarm, etc…

Welcome

A valve is MUCH better. You can vary the volume of air; The Tone and sound volume are tweakable.

I mean just listen to this clip, granted it’s a Nathan M5, but you get the picture:

A valve is an EPIC win!

The only thing I would be concerned with is the mushiness of response due to (long) air hoses going into the cabin for the valve… The hoses expand and contract.

And here is a vid of a DD40X with an M5, but the loco only has a button for the horn!

Sounds boring, don’t it!
