Great air system

I have a very air-hungry Leslie Supertyfon RS-5T(full orifice), and I have very limited space (and money) for compressors and tanks, so I wanted to find a way to maximize the potential of the stuff that I have, and increase its performance. I took two 5-gallon tanks, a 480, and a compressor(maybe a 150) that has a 2.6 flow rate and also goes to 200 psi. I have a 165-200 pressure switch, a 235 psi safety valve, a tank gauge, a regulator gauge, a 140-cfm regulator/filter with a max pressure of 250-psi and an adjustment range of 5-150 psi. I have a 3/4" hole all the way between the tanks and my horn. I pressurize the tanks to 200, and regulate the output to 120. She stays steady at 120 psi for about 8 seconds of continuous blowing, then I get a few more seconds before she quiets down. Success !!

Wow nice setup! Beautiful Leslie to. I love the paint job. Where do you mount it? My next horn that I would like to have is a S5T. The king of all horns. Would love to hear how it sounds.

Gonna try to make a recording with my computer (audacity software) tomorrow when I static test the RS5T

Should have a recording tomorrow. Going to mount it on the left side of the tractor’s frame, pointing forward (there’s about 3 feet of space in front of it).
