I live in the Niagara Pennisula ( which includes Niagara Falls ) and growing up I would always hear Train horns because we had tracks right down our road. I never thought that you could possibly mount one of these beautiful sounding horns on a personal vehicle. Seeing the video’s of scares got me right hooked (line and sinker). Really want a old cast P3 and have priced a kit from Jackson. Any info on seller or horn would be great. Would a single compressor be ok or should I immediately get the double compressor. Thinking I would be getting a 5 gallon tank. Thanks

2 compressors would half your fill time also I’d go for the 8.5 gallon tank if I where you.
Jackson is a great seller but I would speak with Matt from Hornblasters before making any horn purchase… The guys from hornblasters are really great and can prolly work out some deal for you…

Thanks for the posts!! What is a good deal for a P3 kit with one compressor? Just wondering what to expect. And is going with a old cast better than a new cast? Are replacement parts going to be more? or harder to find? what about decibels? Are they going to be fine mounted under a truck where the spare is? Anyone ever heard about setting off the airbags in a vehicle by tooting their own horn?

anywhere from 500 - 1000 depending on condition, new or used… the horns are loud and huge too… yes they will be fine to mount under the truck where spare is… i mounted my k5la there… love it!! and no u cannot set off airbags by tooting their own horn…

Thanks for all the Welcomes! Its nice to come to a forum where you are welcomed instead of targeted. Can’t wait it my B Day tomorrow and I am hoping my girl has got me the horn. I’m not holding my breath though. It is something would be capable of doing. Perhaps pooling the money together from my moms and sis!

Man everytime I hear a train horn I say to myself "Self, Can you believe that someone actually gets paid to stare out a window and blow a train horn all day!! and I respond back “No I can’t and stop talking to yourself that woman is staring at you!!”
