hey guys , i have a 05 dodge 3500 diesel and i need some ideas of what kind of horns to put on and where to put them , i was looking for something loud because i was watching the videos and i almost pissed my pants in laughter , thats awesome . thanks BoDean

Personally I’d say go as big as your budget allows and mount em’ under your truck. There should be tons of room for anything you’d ever want under there.

Welcome BoDean. What type horns have you been looking at and have you been able to narrow down your selection? What’s your budget? That may determine what you ultimately go with.

thanks , thinking of spending around a grand to 1500 and i was looking at the 5 gallon tank system i believe it was the 530 , as long as there loud , iwill get them on

I don’t see a 530 kit from Hornblasters, but there are a few 540 kits. Are you talking about the kit that includes the Shockers, or one of the kits with an actual train horn like the K5LA or K3LA? You should be able to get almost anything you want in that price range. Look at my install in my sig of my K5LA and that should give you an idea of what around $1500 can get you. For about half of that or maybe less you can be set up with the Shockers.

Welcome. You should get a nice system for $1500. The Shockers are great but keep in mind that most will upgrade their horns sooner or later.

Thanks again , i was looking at the k3la 540 , i just want something loud and sounds good , and i want to scare the poop out people ,

FYI you can find the K3LA by itself on eBay for less and get the Horn-Air 540 Air System separately and save $$. Or you can upgrade to a K5LA off of eBay and still save some $$. You can also put that savings towards a larger tank and extra compressor if you’d like too. Just wanted to throw some other options out there for ya…
