Hi & welcome to the mad house!:D:D
Hmmmmm If it were me, I’d be going 1/4" to 1/2" push fit, then a 1/2" airline to the bell with a 1/2" push fit screwed into it, the only one restriction would be the first 1/4". Should still work & be loud!
That’s great thanks for the info
Just can’t wait to get it all plumbed up and installed
Welcome to the forum.
Pete has you on the right track. The only thing I’d add, is that depending on the length of line you intend using, and the pressure of your tank of course, a single 1/4" line all the way through to a single chime will certainly still be good enough. The K series chime has a very small intake venturi (about 1/8" I think)
With multiple chimes the horns will consume a lot of air - i.e. a K5 will need 1/2" line and fittings, but a single should be totally ok on smaller line.
If you do want to end up going larger, or to a larger set of horns (e.g. K3 or K5), then you’ll need 5 gallon tank minimum which should then come with 1/2" ports. The other thing is that you can combine port outputs to get more airflow. For example if your tank has a couple of 1/4" ports, you could always run short twin 1/4" lines into a union “Y” or “T” piece which then goes to 1/2". Unless you have a local pneumatic fitting supplier, get onto eBay … stacks of options without ever having to leave home; e.g:.

Good luck… post photos and/or questions
Yeahhhh this is also true Mr DBOOOO, I guess my thinking was that if I ever wanted to upgrade & fit a set of K3’s or 5’s, though I realise there would be a restriction at the tank.
Has you single K Bell got its own manifold??
Thanks for the warm welcomes,
And many thanks for the fast response
Yes got it own single manifold
Fitted a schrader valve to tank tonight
So i can precharge it to test, compressor the end of the month
Going to go the 1/2" route for future expansion
And like the idea of wireless remote
for my shocker install it came with a 1/2 push connect but i had 1/4 fittings on my tank i went to a local pluming store here in Wisconsin and got a brass 1/4 male the 1/2 female fitting the push connect screws right in works great. Also remotes are very fun!!
What are the wireless remotes called, and where can i get one from in the UK
Cheers
I can sort you one out, I have just taken stock of a few now.

Im in essex
Thanks
Cool beans Ben, gimme a shout if your over my way (enfield)
Yes mate will do
Ooh, my ears are burning, did someone mention Essex :D. Well we UK hornblasters are very territorial (afterall in the USA there’s a hornblaster every few houses and train horns are a dime a dozen, but here in the UK it’s a few per county). I go to enfield (once I’ve got my horns installed) and it’s not the police that are gonna be chasing me, it’s gonna be pete honking his horns and flashing his lights (“get outta my town, this is my territory” lol).
Essex is a big place though, where about in Essex are you (I already have a few people from Essex with shockers that we’re gonna paint a town red with)?
Im from Colchester,
tank almost complete, Had to do a repair job on new tank made the mistake of using loctite 545 on safety valve tried to remove then snap had to drill out and retap 1/4" bsp
Im now using liquid ptfe from screwfix and much better for bout £5
Will add pics over the next few days
Yer I’m from Billericay so we won’t be unintentionally crossing eachothers paths then I guess and I don’t do any store calls in colchester normally. What horns you got/getting? I just recently added a set of wolo train horns to my horn armada- more horns than a cruise ship fleet.
