I have this Hornblaster Electric Valve:

I have a linemaster foot switch: 912949-7 Linemaster Light Duty Foot Switch, SPDT Contact Form, 125/250VAC Voltage Rating, 1 NEMA Rating | Imperial Supplies
the switch has a normally open, normally closed and a common input.
The electric valve is normally closed. Do I need to hook one grey wire from the valve to the switch in the normally closed input. The other grey is ground and then hook a wire from positive terminal with inline 5amp fuse to the common port of my footswitch?
I’m slightly confused on how to wire this up.
