Don’t laugh, but I’m wondering if the loudest horn (the $1250) will fit in my 2008 Honda Civic. I need something louder so other drivers take me seriously.
Yes it could, you may have to use aftermarket brackets to mount the horns in different places.
^What he said
or you can cut a hole in your trunk like the guy on youtube.
Do IT!
I have a 2010 civic and i want to know where can you install any train horn? There’s absolutely no spare room under the hood, and I don’t want to put them on the roof or anywhere noticeable? Thanks i’m new to all of this…
Your best bet for ease of finding a location is if you get the Shockers, the 4-trumpet black plastic ones on hornblasters. They have the advantage in that the trumpets are smaller in diameter and the trumpets aren’t connected to a manifold so they can be separate. It will be very likely that you can place them inside your front bumper, in front of the radiator, at least they fit there easily in a 6gen '99 Civic (http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/ac295/danwat1234/Shocker%20240%20hornblasters%20kit%20on%20Honda%20Civic/SANY0026.jpg)(http://i909.photobucket.com/albums/ac295/danwat1234/Shocker%20240%20hornblasters%20kit%20on%20Honda%20Civic/SANY0025.jpg)
The genuine train horns, you’d need to mount them on the roof, under the trunk(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JYqHa_40jKE), or separate the horns from the manifold, there are guides on here I think.
Username ‘honduhh’ has put a Nathan K3 in her car’s rear bumper by separating the horns…see the photobucket link in previous posts
For a Civic, this is the standard by which your install should use.

Welcome to the forum “civicblaster” and “ethanrinchik”.
Under the bumpers is your best bet
I have a 03 Honda civic w a k5la 200 psi and 15 gallons of air w 2 480ccs all hidden so anything is possible definitely the loudest car in iowa or Nebraska lol
^^Haha only cuz I’m down right now.
I’m going to go ahead and say - pics or it didn’t happen. Seriously.
It sounds like you change your stuff a lot, but Shockers, 540 kit, k3, k5, then k3+ k5, 9 gallons, 10 gallons, 9 + 3 gallon reserve (whatever that means), now 15 gallons.
Every time you post about your crazy Honda, we ask for pics. So what up?
and you might consider a 3rd compressor because of their 5 gallon warranty limit.
Thank you arobinson for posting pics in your album. It definately shows that you can stuff a lot under a Honda. I was becoming pretty skeptical about your setup so sorry if I got a little rude.
