Ello everybody’s…
You may have or may not have noticed, I not been on much!!!.. well I’ve been busy busy busy with work, and not finishing before ten at nite, getting home showereing then going to bed…plus I’ve been busy preparing for JAPSHOW!!! (Jap car show at Santa pod!!)
I’ll post up pics later when I get in, but just had to tell ya briefly about my weekend!
I’m a member & mod of a Japcar forum over here called MissBanzai. We were at Japshow at Santa Pod (1/4mile drag strip)… I dont know where to start!!
We arrived on sat afternoon and proceeded to put the tents up and start the drinking… had a bbq, got very very drunk…Had a mental time…
Sunday morning, we all got up and got over to our Stand in the Club show stand area. We had a amazing postion, right next to the strip about half way up, so we could see the start & finish line clearly!!! superb!!
We all postioned our cars & on the stand and mine woz right at the front in the middle, parked with the boot open so as people walked by they could see my Horns!!!
I kid you not there woz thousands off people at this event, the sun woz shining and people were walking back and fourth all day. About 50metres away from us woz the burger vans etc etc so it woz like the main stretch up to the food and drifting area…
I kid you not, we spent the whole day p*issing ourslves with laughter… time after time after time we were getting people with the horns!
(like a complete numb nutz, I had neglected to bring my vid camera!)
As people were walking by, you could see them glancing over at the boot & then their foreheads would kinda crease and you could read their lips saying “Hornblasters.com”??? then they would walk over to the boot of my car and stand trying to figure out wot the fek it all woz!!!..Then…baurrrrrrp:eek::eek:…Then screams & laughter!!!
I had numerous people coming onto the stand and chatting to me about the horns, seriously, people were loving them… One bloke said thats the funniest & best ever Modifcation he had seen on a car!!!
People were asking the usual questions, “Are they illegal???” :rolleyes:derrrrrr!! “How much?”, “Where from?” and did I install them myself??? If HORNBLASTERS.COM dont start getting more hits from the UK, I’ll be most suprised!!
I’m hoping to sell my car now in a couple of weeks & the horns are going with the car!!! So I will be ordering some new horns and getting a new motor to put them in! I’m excited & sad at the same time!!!..
Whilst on the stand, one of the guys (Little Red we call him) is just 18 and into drifting and has just got a little Volvo 340 (I think) he has now got The God father musical horns on his car… and also now adorns two big “one in the pink, two in the Stinky”, Red Hornblasters stickers… There woz four cars on our stand displaying the Hornblaster Logo or name, Mine, Milsters (with Hornblasters.com sticker), a white GT4 with the logo, and Little Red’s with two large stickers, I gave a big red one also to my mate to put on his drift car, but will have to wait & see if it appears on it as he is sponsorred by a sole company already…
To Matt & Garratt & the rest of you boys at HB HQ, you guys are legends!!! (big big discount please next time my order goes in lol lol) ;);)
