horns on a scooter

Hi,

I know this is not a train horn install, but would like a bit of advice…

previously had twin air horns running off a compressor mounted in my Vespa Glovebox / toolbox. worked fine ( relay all fused etc…), have recently acquired some tasty Black triple Stobel air horns with a stobel compressor…

Now with this install, i wanted to make it as Stealthy as possible, Hence Black Air horns ( Black Scooter) mounted the horns under the floor boards of the scooter, and have run some pipe through the Chassis of the scooter… I have managed to mount the older compressor that was with the Twin air horns behind the Seat and hidden well out of way…( stobel compressor was just a bit to large in size) cannot be seen at all… I have a couple of length of pipes and connections between the compressor and horns and finding not enough power to run the three horns…

Do I ?

Mount the compressor closer to the horns ?

Use the Stobel compressor…?

Bear in mind the twin horns compressor did work when i connected the Triples straight to the smaller compressor…

Reduce the number of connections, reducers,

Or give up…!!!

Also was wondering could i use the spare tyre on the scooter as a secondary air supply…??

Al…

heres a pic of my current install

as you can see, quite stealthy, i have painted the brackets black now, so even more difficult to spot…

Cant find the pic i took of where the compressor is situated

also got a small toggle switch in the glove box so that i can switch to conventional horns when i want…

I think the air tub i was using is a bit big diameter… I had it given to me Silicon air tube 8mm diameter and is quite a loose fit on the air horns…

Will try some better tube tomorrow…

please comment and advise on the use of my spare as an additional air tank, and what difference the tubing Diameter / restrictions in tube make…
