How come?????

How come I used to be able to click on the Train horn banner and it would take me back to the main forum page, now I have to click on the link?? just wondering thats all?

IF you click on the ā€œtrainHornForums.com the ultimate train horn communityā€ it will take you back to the main forum page. but if you click ā€œshop onlineā€ it will take you to the Hornblasters.com site

yeah mate I just tried it again, I used to just click on the big blue banner at the top and I went to the forum…but now I have to click on the first link on the left ā€œTrain Horn Forumā€ā€¦???:o

i click it and it took me back to the main forum page :frowning:

Tiernan switched the banner so it would link back to the HB site along with the main page. top right brings you to HB, and everywhere else brings you to the forum home page

Ok…no probs…but it does fek all when I click on it… takes me nowhere… maybe its something at my end???:confused: never mind, its not a problem…

I just tried it again… if you click on the shop online, it goes straight to HB site… but the rest of the banner dont seem to do anything, woz always so much easier…but like I said not a problem!:D:D:D

It doesn’t take me anywhere either.

works for me…

Doesn’t work for me either.

Working perfect for me.
BEAUTIFUL…

To all of you who it doesn’t work for: What browser and operating system are you using?

I tried it on 3 different computers and none worked. XP and Internet Explorer on 2 of em and Vista and IE on the other.

Ok…so apparently…according to my brother who works closely with the internet etc etc… We are running
INTERNET EXPLORER Version IE8… apparently there are loads of issues with this version, one of my bro’s main customers has all sorts of tech issues since they upgraded to IE8???

that could be it actually. I AM on IE8 lol

Anyone else running IE8?

screw IE, it sucks and have not been innovative in the last 10 years… get firefox or Chrome instead

It seems to be a problem with IE’s support of image maps. I just made some modifications so let me know if it works for you all now.

I usually use Chrome 4. My only beef with it is it does not support many extensions yet and I really liked adBlock.

Oh and for anyone wanting to bash IE: image maps were introduced in 1997 in the HTML 3.2 spec. Considering its been 12 years you’d think they’d have worked out the bugs… whoops

Nope sorry mate, still not working for me…no hassle… will just click on the link instead.

I am on IE8. Since IE8 has been out since March 19 after being in Beta for a year, I would think that webmasters would have updated their websites to work with it. :stuck_out_tongue: I really don’t have a choice of browsers here at work, so IE8 it is.
