dude you should resize your pics before you post them on a forum (or have imageshack.us resize them automatically while uploading)
i don’t know what horn you have… but it’s huge… and i suppose it likes air
from your product:
This HornAir system is not recommended for AirChime horns. We recommend using at least a 4 gallon tank with larger scale train horns like the P3, P5, K3, and K5; however, this kit is perfect for HornBlasters Shocker horns.
from what i read from your horn, is that horn is an Airchime
ok thats a k horn and it is part of a 3 or 5 chime set. it looks like a #2 bell but the picture is tooooo friggin big for me to tell. No that air supply is not the one you need. These horns are typically run at around 130 psi and an air kit with 150 psi is more suitable for your needs. You can do one of two things 1. buy an individual manifold for the horn as it is not made to be by itself, and i can point you to the person that makes them. 2. you can get the manifold and the two horns you are missing and have yourself a bonafide locmotive horn. I can also get all the bells you need and manifold for a reasonable price. my recommendation if you have ample funding is to get a 5 to 10 gallon air supply and the 2 horns and manifold you are missing. you will be very very happy with the outcome…
I’d love to get the 2 missing horns. But I have a car and installing one is already tight. Since I have 2 subs in the trunk, adding a 5+ gallons air tank would be overkill. And I am very interested in buying a single manifold. And out of curiosity, how much could I get the other 2 bells and matching manifold for?
close to 300 and you can just get the two horns and do individual manifolds and mount them seperate. fyi the horn you have willl be very very loud but it just wont sound near as good as having the whole set
I’ll consider this offer. But for now I’ll just take 1 individual manifold.
But I’m very interested in getting the 2 others. I’ll let you know if I take the 2 others.
