Hi i just bought a used set on nathan k3 airchime and they need to be glass beaded due to all the paint and miscellaneous crud thats on them and would like to remove serial tag off manifold before i send it to the shop… thanks i would appreciate any feedback that can help me remove the tag without damaging it

I assume you want to take it off without damaging it - then put it back on?
Aren’t they riveted in place? Normally to remove a rivet, you drill out the center. Start with a small drill bit & work your way up.
Yes…still says nathan airchime on tag and i dont want it to come off when they blast them…
Its not really a rivet Its more like a small nail but they use alot of pressure to keep it in there
I think there called blind rivets drill them off them source some more ebay etc

Maybe post a pic? Mine doesn’t have a tag so I’m not sure what it looks like. Most likely though drilling the rivet out will be your only option
