I cant leave anything alone.

Stupid OCD. I get brand new valves and they still dont look good to me. They have to be corrected. I wish I had the ability to just buy something and leave it alone.

Gloss Black Powder, Media blasted upper body and handle, switched the 4 bolts with Stainless bolts.

Looks extremely nice. nice work

I’m the same way. Those do look nice. I painted my handle yellow to match the truck but may disassemble and give the rest of the valve a cleanup and new coat of paint too.

Very nice detail!

A True Perfectionist. I love your work because at least if you screw with it, its going to come out better than before. Horn On.

Thatk you sir. Never thought of it that way. But on the other side of the coin I have screwed up many things in the pursuit of learning. I guess it works in the end.

How much Does a manual valve like that cost ? Because I really want to run one, they look fun to use lol

Got my GW look-a-like valve from HB for $79.99. Looks like Curt has the real deal tho… I bet he could hook u up with one of those newly refinished ones tho!! They look nice

HB has new ones for 189.00.
The pricing on these ranges from 100.00 for a good used one up to 160-190 for new.

They are pricey items, but they are quality. Much easier to mount then a ball valve, and give more control then a electric valve.

Or get a GW clone valve from HB like I got for $79.99

Good point I missed those. I never mess with them as alot of the people that buy mine are hardcore collectors who only want the real thing.

The manual valves from HB. Are they good quality and have you ever had problems with it ?

I haven’t installed mine yet but it looks fine. I believe I have a pic of it in my album.
