I feel like starting my own

Car Wash system… Anyone know anything about it?? I was like an automatic bay and a few manual bays… I hear they can bring in a good return… But i just wanna know more about the start ups… I already have the equipment I want in mind, I used this bay in PA and there is nothing like it here in Delaware…
I just saw another car wash place get built and it is PACKED every freaking day… I want in on this business…lol…
And I am accepting donations, funding, grants, from anyone who cares to donate… Especially HB.com… lol

Sorry, can’t help you except to say that car washes are very successful out here too.

i wish were way to get loan for one…land n location is key factor

We have many detailers who operate out of their trucks on the streets in business districts. They get a couple of guys to help and can do a car in 15 to 20 minutes at $20 ea. They always have cars waiting in line.

i dont want that type…i want a self serve and automatic bay…no employees…

The .25 hungry spray off places are always busy here. I use to always go to them… Now i usually go to “Delta Sonic” and pay $18 for a package deal of 3 washes within 3 weeks. Works out to $6 a wash… Not bad at all. The problem with the spray off places is they dont have jets built into the floor… Now that would be an idea!

This is type of bay I want… It has the undercarriage sprays… great amount of soap and tons of pressurized water… plus it awesome at drying the car when done as well…
and there isnt any of these around my area…

Most of the self serve washes around here started out with good pressure and good soap…now as time has went on it costs more for less time. The pressure has gone down and instead of the hot pink soap that works really well, they use this el cheapo crap…I understand that costs go up but the customers will go elsewhere.I recently bought my own pressure washer and it does better than most of the car washes around here…
