ok so last year i had a set of k5’s mounted under my truck and long story short i got pulled over with them,the horns were then confiscated from me because they thought they were stolen and they tried charging me with a felony five which never did happen as there was no proof other than they were black which is the same color as the ones from the train yard that had been stolen from recently i guess. i never got my horns back. i have bought another set of k5’s but am second guessing on putting them on because i do not want charged with a felony five and know everytime i get pulled over and my license is ran that it tells the cop about the incident of last year. please let me hear everyones opinoin:confused:
I say if they never convicted you that you should go get your damn horns back!! Bet you they are no longer in the impound and there is a cop out there with an actual stolen set on his personal ride now! :eek:
Screw the po-po they can’t charge you and keep your stuff! That shouldn’t show up on your record if they pull it, but if it does you tell them you were never convicted. This is still a free country…at least for now! :rolleyes:

thats what i thought to but this summer we got caught tresspassing riding four wheelers and the sherrif had to give my friend a ride home and the sherrif asked if i ever had anything to do with train horns. i guess that they can still try and charge me with it its just if i get charged with it in court or not. i have a good way to hide them this time. but the thing is i have no recipt or proff of purchase for these either. is there anyway i can make one
Where did you get them? You could print something out if you really wanted. I sure wouldn’t let them take them again! What happened to innocent until proven guilty?!
my grandpa’s friend had them laying in a garage i helped clean out and he said i could have them. and nothing happened i went in the next day to the police office and they had four norfolk southern police officers interogate me which ended to nothing, i got one call from the officer asking if i found anything out and i said no. they said if i didnt take them off right there and then when i got pulled over they would get me for tampering with evidence and impound my truck so i didnt have much option. i did end up getting a ticket for horn operation and had to go to court and ended up they couldnt even find it in the lawbook

Do what you think is best, but if it was me I wouldn’t worry myself over forging a receipt and I’d sure the hell fight them if it happened again. What if they figure out some fake receipt you produce is just that…fake! Then that leaves the question, “Why would he fake a receipt?” I don’t have receipts for everything on/in my truck but that doesn’t mean I stole it all! :rolleyes:
