I think my pressure switch is done

I got my kit about 7mo ago and have loved every minute of it. Now I am getting mad because I think my pressure switch is done. It started about 3mo ago. When the weather was cold the switch would turn the comp off and then the about 1/2 sec later the comp would turn back on. When it was warm outside it wouldn’t do that. Now the compressor won’t turn off at all.

Is that the pressure switch that is bad?

You need to check voltage to verify that is where the power stops.

Mine didnt cut off 1 day last week had to unplug the hot wire to the relay to shut the compresser down. The contacts on the pressure switch were rusted, a little sand paper on the prongs and it works fine again.
