Individual horn mounting

I have seen the individual mount kits and I think I can build them myself. I have a welding machine and taps, dies, etc My question is this - would it be ok to run 1/2" main line then branch off to 5/16" for each horn? Or just stay with 1/2" all the way? It is for a K3HA.
Thanks…

Splitting my Nathans also. I wouldn’t be comfortable with 5/16" so I’m doing at least 3/8".
1/2" works too, if it’s easier to buy 1 size of airline & fittings.

Just don’t go smaller than the valve or tank ports and you should be fine.

I think I’ll just stay with 1/2" all the way then. Wouldn’t want to choke that thing down. Thanks fellas

My logic is that Shockers use 5/16" and Nathans consume more air…

Makes sense. I know that there are orifices inside the horn but you still want that extra volume

bigger is always better…

Yes, it is!!

Nice looking stuff man. I would love to buy those but I already have the metal and fittings to build them. I’m going to try my hand at building them and see how it comes out. If I don’t like it, I will probably buy yours. Thanks for the offer…

Yah no problem… Good luck with the build man.

I’ll try to get some pics. I always get busy and forget to take 'em.

Yeah, as they say here - without pics it didn’t happen…lol
