Hey everyone, originally I wanted the classic shocker 228vx kit being that I am a college student on a budget and that it would be easy to conceal on my family’s 2011 highlander.Until I found a Nathan airchime K3LA on craigslist… The seller has it listed for $425, “no haggling”. Any thoughts on whether this is a decent deal? Secondly, what should I look for while inspecting the horn? The seller mentions that he does have an air tank at 120 psi to test it.
Any comments, advice or suggestions would be much appreciated.
I just passed that article by 2 days ago… I found nathan k3ha and paid 200 for them shipped!
They sell between 400-500, seen people selling them up to 1000…
Remember you will also be needing the valve, tank, compresor, hose, fittings.
That is true. :-\ Where did you find such a great deal? I’ve been searching locally and neighboring states on craigslist and Ebay for a good deal, with little success.
$425 is good. Even better if you can hear them blow. As long as they sound decent and they aren’t cracked / chipped, they’re good to go. If they are truely K3LA the bells will be 1, 2, 4a.
Check the hornwhistleboard forum. Some of them sell horns and if you don’t get a price you’re looking for, at least they can tell you if a price is good or not.
thanks bel air. Abarenchi im the one who said i could do 430 shipped for a k3 anywhere in the 48 states. im just an individual with a passion about horns and trying to cut my inventory down.
