I’m new to the forum and need some advise.
I am installing a Conductor’s Special Model 548 Train Horn Kit on a 2009 F-250 diesel with the factor up-fitter switches. Two of the switches are rated for 30 amps and are fused and on relays and only operational when the truck is running.
So my question is can I use one of these switches to power the load side of pressure switch and disregard the small wire (trigger) going to a keyed only accessory line. Or wire both the load and trigger to the up-fitter switch?
I would prefer to have the compressor on a manual switch in addition to the pressure switch.
Any thoughts and advise is greatly appreciated.
