How hard is it to install the horns yourself? I’m wanting to have them on a toggle switch to where I can use my stock horn and have both options and have my compressor wired to the ignition so it won’t run unless my truck is on. Can someone give some insight to a first timer/newbie to the train horn world
Ive read it isnt that bad, this would be my first time installing them to.(I get mine in a few days)
not bad at all. basic mechanical/ wiring skills, and some common sense will take you a long way. theres plenty of helpful diagrams and people here to lend a hand as well!
Also check out the install part of hornblasters to see how other people did their setups, imo the hardest thing would probably be finding a place to mount everything
Ya one main reason I joined was helpful insight for installing. I plan on mounting evenerythin under my truck with maybe just a pressure gauge inside and then a toggle. I figure basic skills and common sense will help me make it through
