is it good ???

hay guys i got a nother ? this time its on the air kit i plan on geting i wuss gona get the viair 20005 2 gallon kit 149 psi
for its $ but i wudd like to get a 400c 5 gallon kit 150 psi but $ is ife but all and all is the first one good for my S4 SHOCKERS now i now in a long run i shud pay the extra fue bucks and get the 400c kit so if i do upgrade to a nathen K3LA ill have a good air kit to do so but i like yours guys help please what do yall think.peace

I would wait, I bought my new setup for a decent price because I waited and found them used. But its your money, and in the end, you have to be the one to decide what you want.

ok 150psi is good but 200psi that like a loco train horn on staruids lol personly
i like my S4 to be herd but 200psi is a littel out of my leage but its ok i am gona go ahead and get the 400c kit it may be a cupel of bucks more but at least it ill have a good air kit besides
the guy who i am talking to about the K3 the $ is not to to bad and at least its $ i can spend with ease and over all if i wudd had got the other one i wudd had prolbums with it 1 it has to be mounted strait up so i cant mount it under the farme and 2 it cant be drain rite so thats what i am gona do thanks agan.peace

I personally would not run 200 PSI through my Nathans. Its not worth the damage that can be done to the diaphragms IMO.

150 PSI and 1/2-inch lines and 1/2-inch valve is PLENTY, with good flow.

i agree i am not to big on the 200psi gige i at least wont to keep my horns in working order if you know what i mean i am thinking of just going a head and geting the 400c kit with 150psi at lest it will be good sound wise for my S4 SHOCKER XL and the K3LA so its good now i herd of other guys runnin 200psi and its ben going both ways but i think for me ill stick with 150psi

hay buy the way i salviged a 13 gallon air tank form a old cambell housefeld air compresser i ask garrett if i cud use it but he sead it cost a lot over all sir if i cud run it what all do i need and how much wudd it cost ?

Don’t look at your PSI for honking, look more for amount of air.

The bigger the tank, the longer the honk. Since you’ve got the S4 then 150 PSI is plenty, and since you’ve got a truck why not just get a 12 gallon tank? HB has then for cheap.

Kris

thanks agan for the feedback yall i shud be good from hear thanks agan peace.

the xl5 is a good one, i think it has a hig motor limit and it will run on at least a 7 c cell nimh maybe more… i think there waterproofed as well.

Kris,
Correct me if I’m wrong, you mean, Volume Of Air, Not Pressure?
Get more at one time through ID (Inside Diameter), not forcing it through faster, just more of it at once.

Happy New Year Marine.
