Is it rude to ask for old train horns?

don’t do it man!!!… You must not give in… You must keep all of the horns… And blast them all at once.

I had this in all caps because I wanted to “yell” it… but the thread, or administrators wouldn’t allow it.

^ I got you lol

AHAHAHA thats hilarious!!

Why would I need my shockers if I had a Nathan K3? You prob wouldn’t even be able to hear them over the k3. And unlike you truck people, I don’t have enough room for both :frowning:

Unless the person you are talking to is a complete idiot then they should know what you are up to. It isn’t like you have your own train at home, or maybe you are going to connect it up in the kitchen to use as a dinner bell. Anyone with a legitimate business need for a train horn would already have one or know where to get one. Anyone scrounging for a horn on the cheap is most likely a hobbyist looking to have some fun or cause some trouble…

Or a collector

soooooooooooooo… did u ask or not?

Jah!! I didn’t get any though. :frowning:

Collector or reseller. When you can buy 15 20 sets at a time they will deal with you.

Wow! That’s too much of an investment for me. Theirs just not a market for train horns. Well, I mean it would probably be hard to sell them. Unless they gave a good discount. Still, that’s $10,000 if you bought twenty at $500 each. Too much for me.

I met A guy that works in A train dismantle yard, He cleans them up and sells them on E-Bay. So to try to ask in my area? Forget it.He says that’s his bread and butter for vacation spending.

I’ve got a set of Shockers coming… had to be done… these will either go under or at the front of the truck in true Horn blaster stylie…

Yeah I was trying to get a RS3L off an Elgin Joliet and Eastern SD38-2 in Homewood. I called the shops but they weren’t open on weekends!

Any Ideas? I own a Leslie Tyfon A-125-247 and I think she needs a friend!
