after about 15 trips to the hardware store, i finally finished my setup for the time being. Right now, i have to fill the tank with my shop compressor, but after a couple paychecks, im going to get a viair compressor.
i found that when i leave the tank full, there is about a 1psi/15minutes leak. Is this most likely a problem with some of the brass fittings or the hose, or valve? And is this something that i won’t even notice when i get the compressor?

I would say that you’re not leaking bad at all. When you get your compressor, you can just keep the switch on and when it falls too low the pressure switch will activate. My setup leaks too. My tank goes about half empty in one day. No biggie though. What size is your tank?
thanks for the reply. its a 3 gallon tank. There’s 7 ports, so that why i thought there could be a leak in the tank.
A good majority of any system will leak… Mine stays full during the day / yet at night when the temp drops i will loose 1/2 tank pressure…
take you a spray bottle with water and put a few drops of dish soap in it and spray all your fittings… you will find the leak
You should not loose more then 5 psi per day.
i don’t loose any psi my setup doesn’t have any leaks
