i’m excited but hope it was worth the hornblaster’s price… i’m worried about the 5 gallon tank not being enough but the guy from hornblasters says it is…so i’ll go with what he says… ups said they should be in tomorrow… i got a 2007 z71… so prolly gonna have to put it where the spare tires goes… that seems to be what everone does… how loud are these things??

as loud as a train… lol, the thing with the tank too is, that if its not large enough, its pretty simple to upgrade to a bigger one… or add another one and connect the two of them.

Yeah man spare tire nook is about the only place under a truck they’ll fit unless you take the bells apart from the manifold and plumb each bell separately.
yeah they are “suppose” to be in today at lunch… and then i’ll have the weekend to put them on…how long does it take to hook up and attach everything?? am i looking at a multi day thing or can i get it done in a couple of hours… lets remember i’m not good at this and will be using the instructions and on the phone with hornblasters several times!! haha

thanks!! i’m worried about the install big time… now i heard you have to make your own mounting bracket for the k3la, is this true?? i was also told you can mount all the stuff in any direction except for the compressor-does it have to be completely upright? also i have two batteries in my truck (for winch and cb booster) will i have to get another alternator?? geez i hope not!
You should be fine with what you got battery / alt wise…
Compressor can go on its side also… you just dont want it upside down.
Also the horns can go any way you want, usually a seperate mounting bracket is made to support the weight of the horns. If you have a crossmember where you are mounting them tho you could probably get away with bolting to there…
