a few clips of my honking my k3 at various points in allegheny state park (NY)
sounds to me like there was a good 4-5 seconds of echo on some of the honks, although it’s hard to tell
this was with a 3 gallon air tank and 1/2" OD main line. Soon i’ll be upgrading to an 8 gallon tank, regulated setup, and 3/4" OD air line, so maybe it’ll sound better/louder then.
fyi, the camera was on the roof of my car every time. Probably way too close to the horns for good quality sound.
nice echos. i always have a problem with my cameras audio. when ever there is a loud sound it tries to counter act it by muffling any audio for a few second. almost like the muffled sound you get after going to a concert.
plus my horns will distort it even when i put the camera back 100yrds

right, it’s such a pain to try and capture the true sound of these things on camera. That video you put up with the k5 had some very nice echos and a decent sound to it though.
