I havent seen a comparison like this. I really needed it when I was new to buying horns. This is from a 80yards, nearly a football field away. Check it out, I had just put my number 2 bell back on so the key change was proly from it blowing some junk out.
No problem. I could not find a video anywhere where someone wasnt trying to get as close as they could to the horn and blow it. Too close, it distorts. I wanted to get far away, so you could hear a REAL life comparison.
Yeah, I did have them out. I had also installed a new press. sw. and since it hadnt settle either, it was pumping the tank up to 220psi. and i didnt want to blow the horn until I got to where I was going. But now I see that i should have. Oh well, thanks for the comments.
BTW: Everyone on here thinks my #2 bell sounds wrong and broken, which is fine. I havent figured out whats wrong with it yet so. HORN ON!!!
I can tell you what’s wrong with it. It just needs to be remachined to play the correct note. Micro Precision’s QC wasn’t as good a few years ago and a ton of #2 K bells left the factory playing the wrong note. Usually just having the nozzle bored down will change it to the correct note but I’m not sure how far and don’t recommend doing it on your on. I know 2 great guys who can do it fairly cheap though so PM me if you want the details.
You could also pull it off and compare the note it plays to a keyboard or something and see if it’s playing the proper note.

Sounds good from my house man. That #2 bell soundin’ a bit off might be why we call you Wild Horn. LOL. But seriously, every horn is going to be a bit unique anyway, right? Yours is just as cool as any other out there. Sounds Great.
I was going to comment on the K-3. But last time we did. Things got all crazy. Now that it has been mentioned again that bell still sound off. But good part is it can be rectified. Otherwise nice video comparison.

the #2 bell was there, just sounding sick. Thats alright, im gonna call it a K2.5la. lol. There you go! stand out from the rest. eh hem, Honduhh, where are your videos? Been waiting. funny thing is, when I first got the horn, my #1 bell wasnt working. I had videos of it up and I got lots of compliments. How do i know it isnt the #1 bell lol.
