On the manifold of my K3HA there are two or three set screws, does anybody know what these do? I want to know before I start messing with them.

Those are actually plugs in the extra ports.
So, in theory, I could take them off and attach hoses to other bells?
They are just inlets, like the one on the bottom. Adding more hoses wont help you with anything. There also very tough to get out, as there turned in with a impact and not touched since they were built. Usually corroded to all hell. I never take them out.
^ That manifold I got from you, the inlet screws were loose. I took them out and thread locked them before I painted it.
Hmm. Lucky for me I have an impact gun with non corroded screws 
What’s fun is trying to get the plugs out of a Prime manifold lol
