K3LA Is Here

Oh yeah in the chat, I didnt have any honey when you told me about that and I was too sick to go get some. Ill tell my dad about it though.

For sure it works!

tell me! tell me!

Finally got it all set up you did!!! Glad to hear you like them. They are the shizz nit !

Congrats!

Which picture came first? In one you can see the press guage, and the other one?

What is screwed in where the pressure guage is on the other pic?

How clear is that when you use the power seats?

Did you get those switches figured out yet? Which Way is up?

Seeing that I was the first one to tel you merry christmas and it wasnt even christmas yet, you have created a heck of a thread and its been great following you on your adventure. This is only the beginning and After hearing your psycho’s, I dont feel so bad about the way mine sound because its exactly the same.

yea man thats about the same price i payed for mine for my system lol. those compression fittings are expensive as hell.

I spent about the same on fittings and hose. I used ALL compression fittings except on the opening to the horn. I needed a few extra because Im running a regulator. The compression fittings run about $5 a piece here in Tex.

I put in all the fittings before I installed the tank and was planning on running the pressure guage christmas day but I didnt have enough air line. In the picture with no guage I had a hosebarb in the tank ready for the guage line. In the picture with the guage I had to install it so it could hold air, I took that one after I had the tank charged and ready to blow.

The circuit breaker had a knot tied at the other side of the hole and a loop of wire behid the rail. The seat moves all the way in both directions without any problems.

I just had to switch the wires around on the switch to get it the way I want it. Its the right direction now.

I already made a car stop at some railroad tracks. I was driving and there was a set of rail road tracks about 10 feet infront of me, the car infront of me was about 4 feet from the tracks and I laid on the K3. This lady slammed on her breaks to a complete stop ad stayed there for about 10 seconds looking for the amaginary train, as soon as she let off her breaks I nailed it and she stoped again. I was crying laughing so hard.

I always say it and will again, that’s not that funny, that’s just dangerous… what if next time she hears a horn, she doesn’t stop because she thinks it’s some kid playing jokes again and gets hit?

May have been funny at the time but… Not Cool! If your gonna use em to scare, scare kids not using crosswalks and people cutting you off and $h!T. No offence but what you did just sounds dangerous to me. Honk responsibly LOL!

10ft is really not that far. Your truck is 10ft in length at least, so she was what? one car length away? I personally dont tailgate people that close. (cause my horn is in front. If I crash, thats it. lol) But at 10ft, you could make someone stop with the stock horn, so its really overkill if you ask me. Try it from a block away. I dont horn innocent drivers myself, but when I horn out of no where, I try it from a block away and see how many brake lights I get. (Not at railroad crossings either.)

Thats on her. I mean, I dont think you should EVER dismiss a train horn. And at the same time it is VERY dangerous.

You’re right, the surprise is accompanied by embarrassment when the other driver actually did something wrong. MY boss can hear me in his office very clearly from 1/4 mi. away when I give my good morning blast in the tunnel. I wouldnt unleash that kind of volume on someone unless they were in the wrong - or starring. I hate it when people are starring all off in my truck.

Yeah I guess yall are right but the horn is still new and im honking it that way. That prolly could have turned bad but I was just horn happy lol. Ill be more careful next time.

not that i agree with your choices of how you honk but dont let the people on here lecture you. do what you want, honk how you feel appropriate.

At least get it on video so we can laugh AND chestize. lol

I agree. Simply being immature and using poor judgment can be the result of people getting injured or worse. Especially when the end result of using these horns get people startled.

I don’t think using them at RR crossings should be encouraged at all.

Be smart, and have fun most importantly!

Good grief… Give the kid a dam break ya’ll. Everyone here knows what they say about opinions…

I don’t condone it, but it is funny. Hell we are using train horns on the street to scare or alert people of our presence. Anyone who has beeped a loud *** horn in public earshot has no room to criticize him.

Only responsible use of a train horn is, a static display, left on the train, or blown well outside of civilization. Do I care about the real responsible use of train horn, a little.

Just don’t be a real *** with them and exercise a little bit of restraint. Not everyone has a sense of humor when it comes to 150 DB.

I was a little horn happy when I got mine set up too. They bring a ton of laughter! My personnel favorite was people on bicycles!
