K3la & k3ha

Can anyone tell me the difference between the K3LA and the K3HA?

Low or High manifold. The high manifold has a couple inches of stand below the base. There really isn’t too much of a difference. The A stands for American tuning, which has bells number 3 and 4 bored out to sound deeper.

There are also K3H and K3L horns; which are commonly referred to as to have Canadian tuning.

Off-topic, but as a side note: In the older designation (before 1976) K3L stood for K3 Low-tone. Using the modern manifolds, the low-tone models would be designated either K3LL or K3HL.
