which of the two should i buy. i have a s10 so mounting space culd be an issue as everything has to go under the bed because of audio equiptment and i need use of my bed. also need to keep the spare tire area for extra batteries. if someone cuold measure the biggest horn on the two setups and give me the max length width and heigth it wuold help A LOT in which to choose. is there alot of audible difference between teh two sets of horns? Is that close to the same for k3la’s?
It’s identical to the K3’s A K3 is made up of 1,2,4a Bells
whereas a K5 is 1,2,3,4a,5 Bells. In your position I’d get a K3, I have had mine since August and I still love it.
I’m talkin about shocker xl vs the k3la not k3 vs k5 lol
u could fit the shocker on the radiator support. fyi

yeah i saw where a guy had a set on a sonoma…im gonna see if i can find a place to put the K3LA since i kinda get some for cheap…really wondering if i will be satisfied with the shockers or should i save up some money. do they sound anything like train horns and loud enough or do the k3la just blow them out of the water?lol

Id say K3LA all the way. I pieced together a K3 system and still love it to this day. Last night we went out looking at christmas lights and had some fun…LOL!!!

Don’t forget you can take the bells off the manifold and mount them separately with a kit.
sweet…how close do they need to be mounted and in same direction to make them sound right??
Direction doesn’t matter and if you use custom brackets try to keep hoses the same length so they sound off at similar time.
so just try to keep them all close to each other and just cut the hoses all the same length correct? really hoping i can fit these behind my rear fender wells. lol also. would water or anything hurt these? beings they will be under my truck…can i paint them or would it be better to send them to hornblasters to get them painted?
No mine are under my truck and get wet, dirty and still sound great. Contact curt for painting or do it your self

If I can fit a k3 on a civic u shouldnt have any problem lol get individual mounting brackets. Real trainhorns.com k3ha mounting brackets ,they work awsum. k3s are much louder
