hey i couldnt find any info on what i wanted to ask and its simple
is the k3la noticably louder then the hb4h? and if i do get them should i run them at the same pressure 150 psi as i do wit the shockers or would 175 psi break them or not sound good?
oh yes. they are louder
they’ll take up to 200psi they get louder but a bit more distorted…but still do good
my k3s sound the same from 200 to about 130, they loose volume after that but the tone doesnt change much
Do u think a 5 gallon tank is will have a decent loud blow time
or will it decrease very quick Id like to get them and run them at 175 that way they are louder but no chance of bad distortion but the 175 compressors are more then the 200 lol maybe get a 200 psi comp and get a 175 pressure switch?? Anyone what u think about that. I hope they will fit into my 05 maxima front grill face down that’s where I have my shockers which I will remove
You can get a regulator to turn down the pressure to say 150 and keep your tank at 200. I go from 200psi to 145 in about 2 seconds with my k3 with a half inch valve and 3/4" hose. If you use smaller parts it will last longer.
how many gal tank do u have that it eats up the air that quickly?
also i thought everyone used 1/2 inch from the tank to the manifold then 3/8 to each hose going to the bells ?
are u sayin i would need to replaces the 1/2 that i have going from my air tank to the front of my car
is this the same setup you are using for your k3la?
•15 ft of 5/16 in D.O.T. Approved Airline is this what u have going to each bell?
•10 ft of 1/2 in D.O.T. Approved Airline
•6 ft of 3/8 in Airline (For Intake)
I have a 5 gallon tank, and only use the single 1/2" port on the bottom of the manifold for air.
why would you go from 1/2 inch airline from tank to valve and then 3/4 inot the manifold isnt it bottlenecking since u have 1/2 inch line from tank to valve
5 gallons will give you about 5 seconds.
The ports on my tank are 1/2", the hose from the tank to the valve is 3/4" OD which is 1/2" ID, and the valve and connection to the manifold are all 1/2".
this is just my op
i think the best
air kit for a airchime
wudd be a 20gallon
set up and 150psi
i dont know i think
thay sound good
at 150 lol.
peace
Try fitting a 20 gallon tank on a small truck/car :D.
you do have a point
227:p lol.
peace
