I just picked up a set of K3LA and they were sent to me with the bells taken off so they wouldn’t break in the shipping… anyways I put them on the manifold and hooked them up to garage compressor to test them and only the one in the middle is getting air? the 2 smaller bells on the outside arnt working? What could be wrong? Does bell position make a difference? The setup looks practically brand new.
prolly not gettin enough air to sound all 3 bells at same time…
make sure that the bottom of the bells all have the O rings in them if not it may be releasing (escaping) the air and not allowing it to flow through the entire horn. Also take off the end caps of the other bells and make sure your diaphragms and Cushion rings are all intact
Hey guys I took the end caps off and the diaphragms and the big orange o ring spacer between the 2 diaphragms were stuck together and there was grease and some grime on them so I took and washed everything in soapy water and put it back together and it sounds like a horn again! Thanks for the pointers!
