What pressure are you going to be running to your K5? I know 200 psi isn’t that great on a horn, but having the valve directly at the horn is really gonna be bad at 200 psi (or so I’ve been told). I’ve heard that if you use a solenoid type valve that you should put a length of airline between the valve and the horn so as to not have a sharp blast of air all at once to the horn. Sounds reasonable to me but I’m not so sure.
its at 150psi and sounds great, its all installed and done just dont have the rest of the pictures yet, i have to put it on the lift to get good pics

The problem with the valve right there is the same problem with newer trains that use an electric valve. After time it will shatter the diaphragms. I have seen alot of horns come to me off trains with this issue.
